To ensure we are able to offer the best possible service, we require you to be ready (in your racewear) at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the Karting London session.

If you are hiring a kart from us, feel free to help yourself to racewear on arrival in the K1 hospitality building, then make your way to the corporate/hire pit lane for meet & greet.

A drivers briefing is customary at the start of every session to recap the rules and to go over any significant changes for your safety! Please note; should anyone miss the briefing, you will be required to wait for an additional safety briefing before driving.

Are you new to karting…? Do you require some help…?
Due to the recent influx of new drivers & as a result of lots of K1 Stars ‘taking the leap’ by purchasing their own equipment, the team are happy to offer their assistance in the owner driver pit lane (over the other side) on an advisory capacity.

Subject to booking, they will be on hand throughout the session to answer questions, help out with kart setup & of course, ensure that all safety aspects are monitored.

We feel it is paramount to extend our services to parents and drivers by adding this additional help at the cost of £10 per driver on top of track fees.

New comers attending Karting London – Parents/guardians MUST brief a member of staff on their child’s experience prior to taking part (ideally the day before your arrival). For drivers with ‘little or no experience’ behind the wheel, it is customary to book an instructor to accomplish the fundamentals from the very start. Sessions will be monitored to ensure ‘safe’ practice.
We reserve the right to remove any driver from the race track should they not be deemed safe. This is for your child’s benefit, as well as everyone else on track! If there is an instructor available, you will be given the option to continue & charged accordingly.

Whilst every effort is made to keep our sessions safe, like all sports, karting does carry the risk of damage and even injury. Our sessions are intended for children to practice alongside other drivers of a similar age to gain ‘seat time’ and experience. All drivers & parents MUST understand that there will often be novice/inexperienced drivers on the race track and all ‘seasoned’ participants are expected to drive accordingly.
Parents/guardians MUST complete a certificate of understanding form and pay the track fee before allowing their driver/s onto the race track.
